This is a lovely walk with wonderful views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.

You can reach Männlichen from either Grindalwald Grund by gondola,or Wengen by cable car. There is a car park at Grund, but Wengen is a car-free zone - you could get there by Wengenalp train from Lauterbrunnen. From the Männlichen station the path is well-signposted to Kleine Scheidegg. The walk takes around 1 hour 20 minutes.

From Kleine Scheidegg it's possible to either walk back to Männlichen, or take a train down to Grindelwald or Wengen.

From the Männlichen station there's a short uphill walk to the summit - it's very worthwhile the climb - the views are fantastic. Click the two small pictures on the left to see larger photos.
